ABIC Contributes to Society with Human Resources

Action for a Better International Community (ABIC) is a private nonprofit organization (NPO) established in April 2000 by the Japan Foreign Trade Council, Inc. (JFTC), the largest association of the foreign trade industry in Japan. Currently with more than 2,600 registered members, ABIC makes it its mission to contribute to society both at home and abroad, in principle, by utilizing the human resources with linguistic skills and global business experiences. Most of them are older employees retired from sogo shosha, general trading companies.

At the request of a company or organization, whether it is in Japan or not, ABIC can introduce them to a professional best suited to their specific needs for foreign language ability, functional skills, merchandise knowledge and other fields. Such experts provide the client with professional services at very reasonable prices. With successful track records and valuable connections in various business fields, they offer real expertise, not theoretical analysis or abstract paradigms, to satisfy the client’s need.

It is recommended that you make use of such professionals both inside and outside Japan, employing them on long-term basis as a specialist for management, marketing, sales, accounting and the like. They are also domestically available to you on short-term or temporary basis for a variety of services including interpretation, translation, research, lecture, consultation and so on.
